Ortonville Early Childhood Coalition
Young children are the most powerless members of our society—they rely on adults for their care and to be their voice. The Ortonville Early Childhood coalition, in partnership with the Southwest Initiative Foundation, is engaging community members from all generations and perspectives to focus on and positively impact Ortonville’s youngest citizens—children birth to age 5. Our coalition was launched in 2006 as part of the Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative, a community based, early care and education project across Greater Minnesota sponsored by the McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota Initiative Foundations.
